The Bremont Victory Limited Edition
Pretty cool stuff ... From a tweet from Bremont
The making of the uniquely special Limited Edition Victory timepiece which has been produced with the blessing of the Royal Navy and the National Musuem of the Royal Navy. This beautifullly crafted watch includes original historic parts of oak timber and copper brass from HMS Victory to commemorate Nelson and the ship itself. Part of the proceeds of each watch will go towards the Ship's restoration.

Re: The Bremont Victory Limited Edition
Wish they would do something like that for "Old Ironsides," our USS CONSTITUTION. Of course, I think it would be simply amazing if they would take steel from decommisssioned US warships - sort of like Chase-D did with aluminum from combat-used B-52 bombers - and work it in to the construction of the watch. Imagine a watch with a piece of USS ENTERPRISE (CVN-65)...she was the first ship I deployed in as a 'nugget' aviator, way-way-WAY-back-when...or the training carrier, USS LEXINGTON (AVT-16), which was the first 'real' carrier the vast majority of us latter-day nasal radiators landed on. Oh, well, it'll prolly never happen...
