Well, I love the Black Bay but, is hard to swallow
$4,000 for a non chronometer ETA 2824... same movement in the Glycine, killer vintage look for 1/3 of the BB....no brainer for me.

Eddie makes great points. They both are damn sharp. The Glycine will take a beating in price if you ever flip it.

I like 'em both, too. I agree that the Tudor will hold value better than the Glycine. Kind of apples and oranges here, though, because of the price points.

Re: Can't decide I like both!!!
I still a little shy on the Tudor plus I think I'm settling into a comfort zone of 200- 2500 for future watches. I have had my hands on some very nice 10k and up watches, in the back of my mind keeps goes how many times am I going to wear it at that price??? think I am going to see about the Glycine. Yes it won't hold it's value as well nor does it cost as much. Thanks guys for the input.

probably late, but in my opinion, the Tudor by a mile. you'll be settling with the glycine and it won't work out.

Probably best to wait if you're interested in the TBB, I've been tracking the price on the used market and it's been dropping.

I like the Tudor as well, the points Eddie brought up are very valid, however, the hit you would take on reselling the Glycine would be healthy.

Re: Can't decide I like both!!!
Having owned the Tudor BB and a Glycine Combat I'd go with the BB in a heart beat. The Rolex made case is just a Nichols above in finish without a doubt. The good hands and markers are just superbe in real life and this is a watch that just looks better in the flesh, pics don't do it justice.
I would try and find a AD abroad to buy from to save money if you can or wait, I have a reliable source that Tudor is finally going to enter the US market... Fairly soon. It'll allow us in the US to get them for less money I would guess
I miss my BB and will get another one unless I end up somehow having the $ to get a sub C
Also the Pelagos is another phenomenal watch but obviously sportier in looks. I wore my BB with dress clothing at the office, in meetings with very senior folks and it just looked right at home.
