Washington DC and the Smithsonian Empty Washington DC and the Smithsonian

So I just came back from Washington DC, it was the first time in about 6 years visiting this city. The Smithsonian Complex (in particular the Natural History Museum and the Art Museums) is simply amazing. I was able to see BEAUTIFUL works of art by DaVinci, Michaelangelo, Raphael, Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Monet, Picasso, Rousseau, Matisse and more. I was also able to see the Hope Diamond and even more impressive gems in the Natural History Museum. For art lovers or museum lovers, the Smithsonian Complex is a must see and, honestly, I was completely impressed.

If you ever find yourself in DC again, I recommend that you take in the Holocaust Museum; it's not an easy way to spend an afternoon, but it is an experience you'll never forget...

I visited the Holocaust Museum on an 8th grade field trip to DC but it's been forever. We already have B&B reservations for DC that are good until September so we'll be heading back down soon.

I planned on a lot of walking so I wore something lighter; a vintage Eska.

Phillies came in third after 5 straight division titles.
Eagles went 4-12 and 3 of the games they won were squeakers at best.
Sixers traded their best player for a guy who hasn't played minute one and reaggravated his bum knees (plural) by bowling. Oh yeah and he's like 24.
The Flyers, well they blow chunks save for their goalie.

As a Philly sports fan, I feel like I'm lost in the woods and there are no decent looking trails to follow.
