Tony from Reactor Watches is coming to do a Question and Answer with our Forum. If you have any questions please take the time to post them as Tony is taking his time answer them. In my last email it looks like he will be coming in on Monday to answer the questions. I would like thank Tony for his participation.

Tony, I will be the first to ask:

Why and how did you choose the 9015 to be your first automatic?

Why do you think it has been so difficult for the watch industry to adopt a culture of transparency? In this era of instant information, subterfuge is bound to be discovered (for example, Tag using reworked Seiko 6S37 movements, or DOXA cases being manufactured in China by Walca).

Reactor has a reputation for creating distinctive case and bracelet designs. Many are bold, chunky and have a dash of mechanical/industrial-style elements.

1) What are your artistic influences for such models?
2) How influenced is Reactor by fluctuating industry trends such as case sizes and materials when new models are on the drawing board?
3) As a pre-watch company owner and only a collector, what one watch model design can you personally point to that prompted you to think, "I would like to build watches!"?

1. Why did the Reactor Brand wait until 2012 to bring out the companies first automatic, The POSEIDON TITANIUM L.E.

2. How long is the turn around time from Miyota until you receive the 9015 movements. Does the Poseidon watch assembly take place in USA or another country.

The Reactor Electron has sparked my interest, but the price on the secondary market is prohibitive. What can you tell us about the watch?

When will they be putting out more mechanicals. The Poseidon LE is a good start but way too big for the average guy?
Do you plan to do the Triton with a Miyota 9015 or 82**?
questions from the chat box.

Would be really interested in a automatic (only) sized down to around 42mm. Single rotating bezel (or non-diver), something less bulky.
Question------> Anything planned like above?

Do like your dual illumination concept btw.

Well, just an update, I tried to contact Tony to see whether he was going to follow up on these questions. He never responded. Going to lock this one down unless something changes.
