RADO D-Star 200
Just picked up the new RADO D-Star 200 from a local AD. After seeing the blue 3-hand version in international watch magazine, I fell in love. Saved my pennies, sold a few watches and when I went to buy it, I saw the charcoal 3-hand version and immediately changed my mind. I love the combination of the retro looks of a 70's diver with the little futuristic details RADO is known for.
200m water resistance
42mm cushion case
Charcoal sunray dial
Rotating ceramic bezel
Sapphire front & back
AR coating on the front
Decorated elaborated grade eta 2824 (cotes de geneve/perlage/seashell-style stripes)
Polished case
Polished outer/brushed inner link bracelet
Titanium clasp
Signed screw-down crown
Blue C7 superluminova on hands/indices
Rotating anchor on dial
Date cyclops on underside so crystal remains flush
Pictures:
Downsides:
Crown is kind of smooth and small so it can be hard to wind if you don't have a crown-winding tool. Also i'm not a big fan of cyclopses, but it's not a dealbreaker and since it's underneath the crystal, it doesnt collect dust.
I'll time it and post the accuracy tomorrow.
Thanks for looking!

Fantastic and congrats! I love my Rado, definitely an under appreciated brand. I fondly remember my mother shopping for a Rado as a gift for my father. It was a very special watch at the time.
Other than your concern about the crown size, it looks like a flawless watch to me.
Enjoy it.

Not a problem, i've had one of these guys for a while now.
Really helps with those stubborn, smooth or small crowns. When you get a chance, do a google street view of rado's complex in lengnau, switzerland. Pretty cool stuff. All the white buildings with blue awnings in the area are their's, so is the all glass office building.

Very handsome watch. Nice pick up. Good size, movement, and look. Very crisp. Not a big fan of typical dive watches, but that Rado is sharp.

I timed it over 24 hours (18 on the wrist, 6 dial-up in the box while I slept) and it gained 4.5 seconds. Pretty damn good.

Thanks everybody. I rarely buy watches new, so this was a treat. I have a christopher ward that SHOULD be here today to join it. Two NEW watches in a row, living large.

Your collection is so large it would have to be a mighty large rock to do any damage.

Re: RADO D-Star 200
If anyone's interested, here's a blue version for sale for around 2/3 of what I paid...
