Jacques Lemans New Milano
Europa Star WorldWatchWeb, 16 August 2012 中文
In 2012 the Austrian watch producer Jacques Lemans again draws international attention with a new watch series - Milano - timepieces with star appeal.
Milano is Jacques Lemans’ new star, the series is presenting itself in a truly unique way. Striking details, perfect manufacturing, high-grade materials, sporty – glamorous – extravagant, these key facts highlight the latest coup of Jacques Lemans.
"Our Milano series, mainly featuring models for the Jacques Lemans Sports Collection, is the perfect mix of lifestyle and sportiness combined with classic elements", says Alfred Riedl, CEO and owner of Jacques Lemans. "With our Milano series we offer a wide range of models, chronographs, multifunctional alarm-chronographs or the classic 3-hands models. Stunning details as a coloured push-button matching the colour of the watch or an elegant, slim watch-band top turn the timepieces into special accessories for ladies and gents".
All models are supplied with a solid stainless steel case, hardened Crystex Crystal and are 100 % water-resistant up to 10 ATM. The high-grade silicone strap in particular is UV-proofed and skin-friendly. The leather straps, made from high-grade Italian leather, are carefully processed.
For the Jacques Lemans La Passion Collection the Milano series is also featuring models which are feminine and glamorous.

Another brand that Lior and WoW have sunk. Also think this isn't all bad for a women's watch. Found some colors and what looks to be the another version for men.

Re: Jacques Lemans New Milano
Forgot to put my two cents in regarding 'the new JL.' The people I'm closest to in terms of watch collecting have all been subjected to my repeated rantings about where JL has been heading for the last couple of years. I'll eschew (that's avoid, for you folks from Rio Lindo) that here, except to say that JL already made some very similar watches last year and distributed them via WoW. They were basically the same silicone rubber and stainless steel (and not 316L, for those who track that sort of thing) examples as seen above, and were going for $99 for three-handed versions and around $149 for the chrono's. (A casual acquaintance/fellow collector claimed their bezels were fixed, but I can't confirm or deny that particular assertion.)
They had all sorts of colors - very close to those usually seen on no-name, gas-station boutique 'timepieces' - and they claimed the movements were Swiss (probably meaning 'ISA parts,' IMHExperience), though they never put the 'Swiss Made' notation at the six o'clock position. At any rate, that's my long-winded way of saying that, to those of us who have loved - and still love - the brand, these 'new' styles come as no surprise. That bit of unpleasantness happened last year...
