Ryser Kentfield is a watch company dedicated to this high art of fabricating impeccable hand crafted timepieces in the Swiss method. Ryser Kentfield was founded by Urs Ryser. A native of Biel, Switzerland which is home to such illustrious Swiss watchmakers as Rolex, Cartier, Omega and Rado, he was surrounded by watches and clocks his whole life. At sixteen, he entered the Cantonales Technikum, a technical institute specialized in training watchmakers since the 18th century and considered to be the hub of the industry today. Mr Ryser was immersed in an intensive program that included the mathematics and physics of timekeeping, as well as the fabrication and decoration of timepieces. After many years of study at the institute he joined the Rado Watch Company where he further refined his abilities. Years later Urs Ryser set out on his own and formed Ryser Kentfield to pursue the business of developing, repairing, and designing timepieces. An artist at heart, his greatest passion remains the creation of watches.


To this day, every Ryser timepiece is hand-assembled by Swiss hands and built to last. The patented watch case is engineered to withstand the most rigorous conditions and made of the absolute highest grade of stainless steel. The case is polished to a silver finish or available with a 10 micro rose gold plating or yellow gold with PVD (Physical Vapor Disposition) coating. In hand the quality of Ryser watches is immediately apparent. The watches are water resistant to 50m and equipped with a sapphire crystal, available in an array of solid stitched leather straps and equipped with a unique folding clasp. Movements are manufactured in Switzerland and hand assembled by master Swiss watchmakers. No short cuts are ever taken and it shows using only the finest quality Caliber ETA 2824-2, 25 jewel movement, sweep second hand, self-winding (with ball bearing Rotor) date indication, fine timing setting, stop second and polished lever escape wheel. Every Ryser Kentfield watch comes with a full two year warranty against defects.
