I have owned a few. They have stood up to the punishment I had put them through. I would recommend them in a heartbeat from my experience with the Vector and the M2 this of course is a compass .

Our local police department, here in the sticks, has given a more tactical looking suunto to the officers. Thought that was really cool. Went in to pick up an accident report and there was an officer hanging around who had no clue what was on his wrist, pretty funny. To quote him when I asked about his watch, he said " it's an ironman, or something."

Love mine....better accuracy than Casio by far and I'm talking not only about accurated time, but barometer, temperature, altimeter and compass readings ....way better.
