I think every forum has its role and fills a niche. Also, you fill a place with enough people and personalities are going to start conflicting. That's life. You can either live with it or not.

Personally, I hope everyone just takes a breather, grabs a beer, and watches Texas embarrass Mark Sanchez. Re-assess in the morning.

Anthony I have known Mark for awhile he is a true WIS that brings a lot of knowledge to any forum. He helped me when I was rebuilding my collection along with a few others. Zmt or xmt has had some great members over the years and do wish some would come here.

I really wish people would refrain from calling me out. I stated an honest, bluntly worded opinion and it hurt his feelings. Boo hoo. We rip Watchgeeks to shreds over exactly the kind of thing he posted but all of a sudden I am a 'boy' and a jackass and he gets a pass? Fuck that and fuck him.

Who called who what is moot now. I understand your respect for him, I have shown respect to the people here and elsewhere who earned it as well.
I'm not here to convince you of anything. Giving a forum a mob theme is as geek as it could possibly get.
How does Mark know me? If he is one of the Marks from WL why didn't he identify himself as such?
He doesn't get a pass from me if he can't refrain from using personal insults when his feelings get hurt.

There is something to be said about that ...Alan alone didn't took XMT down, he imposed a culture that was bound to fail, those close to him followed , in my brief experience there, that included the mods , heavy handed moderation then, carry over resentment today.

Yup, they stymied discussion and that's what killed the forum. I believe Mark/Andrema didn't become a mod until much later though, well into the decline of that forum.
