Well, I've had my issues with Benarus, but this is pretty cool:

I also think it is pretty cool. I used to own the original Moray and have always considered getting one back.....my only hesitation is that they are 16mm in thickness.

I think they are cool too...but I want to ask you guys that actually owned them...is it me, or are they expensive for no particular reason?

That particular model presold at $750. China case with Swiss movement, two strap optioned kit. I'm sure there is a nice margin in that price point, but not an outrageous one.

I had one of the second run of Bronze Morays, which turned out to be brass (See Bronzegate thread at WL). It was a solid watch, but I never fell for the dial. When I called upon the legendary personal customer service of brand to change out the dial, AT MY EXPENSE, I was ignored and my request left to die on the vine.

Fatman (Matt) was very cozy with the brand early on. Maybe he can comment?

I purchased mine for around 450.00. This is a couple years back. It had the miyota 8215 and I always thought that it was well worth it. It kept time, solid build and it had great looks. I believe it was thinner than the current models. It came with a SS bracelet (very nice BTW), a rubber strap and a leather strap.
