I find that more people either like or don't like ceramic watch with no middle ground. What are your thoughts? From ablogtoread.com

In this article on watch case materials we have decided to write about ceramics. Ceramics are possibly the least understood of the materials used in watches. Many watchmakers are nowadays using ceramics for their watch cases – which gained popularity with Rado. Now Chanel, Hublot, Omega, IWC, and many others produce watches with ceramic cases in full or in part

My experience with ceramic has been overall good. I appreciate the scratch resistance, as I prefer no wear patina on my watches. My wife is brutal on watches, and her Android has held up well.

I'm not crazy about Ceramic watches, but I'm not against buying one, if the right one comes along.

I like the Android Ceramics, kinda.

I genuinely like and enjoy my ceramic watches, and I agree that the only real down-check is in sizing them. Ironically, as someone who is not-at-all a fan of SWI, I believe my Swiss Legend ceramics are the most attractive and pretty much the best quality (along with Oniss, who make nothing but ceramics) out there. Here are a few of my favorites:

Like just about any type of watch, ceramic models are not for everyone and, as mentioned above, people seem to either hate them or love them, with not too many in-between WIS's. We've all seen the black and white versions, and dark blue and brown are getting to be almost as common. Women can now collect pink, butterscotch and even lavender examples. Personally, I'd love to see an even more expanded palette of colors; reds, orange, even my favorite color, green; maybe even purple confused ...or maybe not... Laughing
