Tissot Powermatic

New Powermatic 80 movement, with 80 hours Power Reserve, ETA 2824 based,
COSC specs

This spring, I will do Everest without oxygen. I did all my peaks without oxygen except Everest. I just want to continue be happy, doing what I love—climbing mountains.

I never been a big fan of Tissot. This one however does look like something I would wear.

Oh wow. I see that white dial in my future. Tissots are within my price range for the most part, I'm sure this will be a bit pricier.

Agreed, I do like the old school SeaStar line (and I have one) but not to crazy about the rest...this one however.... is nice, no doubt.

I'm very impressed with the visual details; I especially like that 'woven' look on the side of the case, and the clean, uncluttered dial. I tend to lean toward the black dial; I like both the look and 'readability' it provides, but I'd rather it have the same hour markers as the white. Concur absolutely that this will be [quite] a bit pricier than the rest of the line, but given its obvious pedigree & specs, it certainly seems worth it to this Cub Reporter.
