Saw the name and thought of Mrneddles.

Bill and Bob, two children, were sitting outside a clinic. Bill happened to be crying very loudly.

"Why are you crying?" Bob asked.

"I came here for a blood test," sobbed Bill.

"So? Are you afraid?"

"No. For the blood test, they cut my finger.

As Bob heard this, he immediately began crying profusely.

Astonished, Bill stopped his tears and asked Bob, "Why are you crying now?"

To which Bob replied, "I came for a urine test!"

Nice.

I offer brief and seldom heard history of my username, as I certainly didn't struggle through college and medical school to be called "Mister". Years ago, when I first signed up for ebay, it asked for a username. Nothing came to easily to mind. Sitting on my desk was a fresh bottle of "Mr. Nettles" brand dog shampoo I had just purchased for my Weimeraner. I changed to "t" to a "d" and there you have it. The username stuck with me since then.

I know, it is a pretty lame story, but the truth.

Hardly a 'lame story', my friend! Methinks it's cool how something serendipitous like that can lead to an often-lifelong (and hopefully always positive) result. Besides, I love Weimeraners...! (And virtually every kind of doggy known to man...! What a Face )

FWIW, I picked up a Ph.D a while back, but am loathe to ever use the title that goes with it...unless I'm leaving my name on a restaurant wait list; I love the sound of "Dr Mortuus, party of four"... What a Face MD's, on the other hand, are the real thing, IMHO; they worked hard to bear the title of 'Doctor.'

And needles? Don't talk to me about needles!affraid
