UPDATE: ZODIAC HI-BEAT ARRIVES AT CASA DEL MUERTO!
*** THIS JUST IN: THE ZODIAC HAS LANDED! ***
Here are a few 'Mortutized' () photos...
As noted by a few of my horologically astute friends, it needs a new gasket, so it'll be at my jeweler's shop come this next Monday morning for a gasket replacement and a thorough servicing/cleaning...
Thanks for looking...

What, another vintage high-beat, Mort? Well...yeah, another vintage high-beat...bit it's also my first Zodiac, so, you know, it's all good...
(All photos courtesy of seller)
From the seller's description: "A vintage (circa 1968) ZODIAC "SST36000" Swiss made men's wristwatch. [It features] a 21-jewel automatic high beat (36,000 VPH) movement set into a large, rose gold plated stainless steel case, measuring 38MM X 44MM."
"Complete with original rose gold bracelet and Zodiac clasp."
"Original brush-textured dial with raised markers, period correct insert hands and original sweep seconds hand. Very cool split day/date function at 9:00 and 3:00, respectively. Overall, a very cool-looking, retro-styled watch."
Okay, so it looks pretty good, and the description is short and to-the-point. The seller promises delivery this week, and I'll let you know the rest of it a few weeks after that. Until then, stay safe and well...

Very nice Mort. Looks like it needs a new gasket. Beautiful looking watch, well done.

Thanks, K. I've already got my jeweler culling through his inventory...sometimes I think he hates me.
