WBOTM April 2013 Max Bill
This is one of my favorite watches that I don't own.
Max Bill was one of the most unusual artists of our time. Acknowledged as a universal genius, he worked as an architect, painter, sculptor and product designer and has left behind an extensive portfolio of creations, this includes one of the most fascinating watch series ever designed. The wall clocks and wristwatches he created for Junghans, which remain practically unchanged today.
Rarely has the interplay of hours and minutes been represented more precisely and more simply than in the case of the timepieces created by Max Bill, which is why these watches now also reside in the world’s most preeminent design museum “The Museum of Modern Art”
When Max Bill designed his legendary wristwatches in 1961, he laid the cornerstone for what was to become one of the most enduring design classics in modern art.

Absolutely love the Chronoscope. I don't particularly care for chronographs, but this one looks perfect. Maybe one day.

Yep. The stock strap is a plain, matte affair, which goes with the aesthetic of the watch, but left me a bit wanting.
