Lovely old Benrus Sea Lord Automatic day/date circa 1970s on a Spiedel Twist-o-flex, once one of my favorite watch bands. Thanks, John!
Need to get this guy serviced. Anyone have any recommendations as to where? Probably just needs a good cleaning/oiling and the stem adjusted as you cant set the day/date with the crown.

You should be able to set both. You should feel two clicks when you pull the stem, first click clockwise and counterclockwise set the date and day. Service was never done in my ownership of it. Looks good on you.

AW, MAN! I had almost the same, exact watch, and I gave it to my dumber-than-a-bag-of-hammers brother in-law...Oh, well, I'll find one again soon. In the meantime, CONGRATS on the karma win!!
